For the 2014 Christmas season, Hallmark released an Anne of Green Gables Keepsake Ornament. The ornament was the third and final in a series of three Christmas tree ornaments, which were exclusively released in Canada.
The ornament depicts the Green Gables house where Anne Shirley found a home with Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert. Green Gables is decorated with a Christmas wreath on the front door and is covered with snow and shimmery glitter in the winter scene. A cheerful snowman raises its arms in front of the house. The ornament is approximately 2 1/8" tall and 4" wide.
The box describes the scene saying, "Green Gables House, located in Cavendish in the PEI National Park, is a popular tourist destination. Each year hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world visit the site which inspired the setting for L.M. Montgomery to create her beloved tale of a red-haired orphan, Anne of Green Gables."
